Occupy Wall Street protesters march on Wall Street after the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange. The police cordon off the area and control protesters as they march from their encampment at Zuccotti Park near Ground Zero and the financial district.
The participants of the event, that began on September 17, are mainly protesting against social and economic inequality, corporate greed, and the influence of corporate money and lobbyists on government, among other concerns.
About 1,000 people have been arrested so far - most on misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges related to blocking traffic or refusing police orders to move.
