An estimated 2 million people from across the United States of America fill the capital mall under under sub-zero degree celsius weather -to attend the inauguration of the first black president of the country, Democrat Barack Obama...Tens of thousands wait in the freezing cold to enter the mall to watch the inauguration. The gates opened at 8.30 am, many people waited from 4 am to enter. The gates were reported to open at 7 am so many elderly and children waited and needed medical assistance after from exposure to the cold. Other gates open at 5 am. It was random.
